You link the connector to your Finaxis account by clicking a secure link. No Acomba password is shared. The link takes about 5 minutes.

First sync and AI training

The connector sends your invoice and customer history to Finaxis. The predictive model trains on your real payment behaviours. Allow 30 to 90 minutes depending on volume.

Activating automatic follow-ups

Yes. Since Acomba is 100% local, we install a small signed connector on the same machine or server that runs Acomba X. The operation takes about 10 minutes and is done by our team remotely.

No. The connector runs in the background and doesn't need Acomba to be launched. Your users can keep working in Acomba without any interference with the Finaxis sync.

The connector automatically resumes at the next sync window once the server is back online. No data is lost: Acomba remains the source of truth and the connector catches up at the next sync.

The Finaxis settings panel includes a "sync now" button. This is the mode we recommend to most of our clients: you keep control over exactly when data is refreshed.

Yes. The connector is installed only once on the server or main machine that hosts the Acomba database. The number of networked Acomba workstations has no impact on how sync works.

The data flow goes from Acomba to Finaxis only, which guarantees that Acomba stays your accounting source of truth. You keep issuing invoices in Acomba as before. Finaxis then takes over for delivery, follow-ups, and statements.

Hourly sync is included by default. A faster frequency (e.g. every 15 minutes or near real-time) is available as an option. Most of our clients prefer the on-demand mode via the manual sync button.
